Its ultra-compact inline design connects directly to dynamic, ribbon, and tube microphones, delivering up to +25 dB of ultra-clean gain. The CL-25 is the smallest and most portable Cloudlifter ever produced, designed for studio recording, broadcasting, podcasting, and live sound applications.
The CL-25 plugs directly into microphones, mixers, preamps, stage boxes, and wall panels using a custom Neutrik gold-plated XLR connector system. Its hard-soldered, wire-free internal design is built to withstand thousands of insertion cycles, providing dependable performance in demanding studio and live environments.

By effectively becoming part of the microphone-preamp signal chain, the Cloudlifter creates two noise-canceling gain stages before the signal reaches the preamp circuitry, improving signal-to-noise ratio and preserving the microphone’s true tone.
